In May 2010, while working on a long distance collaboration project with Gunnar Lettow, I assembled a collage track from my amplified objects and prepared bass recordings which included silence and space. I also sent this track, via the internet, to various other musicians asking them to contribute in their own way. This CD contains nine “virtual duets”, each six and a half minutes long, that I assembled from my original track and each musician’s creation. Each collaborator’s part is exactly as I received it without further editing. I wish to thank all the musicians involved who helped me realize this project. Gary Rouzer
